تاريخ الإعلان عنها: 2014/06/05 09:39:44الرقم المرجعي JB1001843614 المشاركة تويت Job Purpose Responsible for the overall management for the Product movement in the Supply Chain, including collection from farms and movement of product between Collection Centres, Packhouses and Distribution Centres. Responsible also for the operations of the Distribution Centre and to handle the information system in the supply chain. The role is responsible for the management of the truck fleet and to develop and implement operational decisions to improve the efficiency of the Section. Key Tasks and Duties Functional and Technical. ? Manage the fleet of for farm collection and delivery, ensuring planned routes and maximum utilisation of capacity whilst minimising re-hire transport. ? Responsible for the logistics planning to assure efficiency in the use of the fleet. ? Planning of the required fleet own by ADFSC and determine outsource requirements. ? Responsible for the operation of the fleet to assure efficient use of resources. ? Fully implement safety controls and ensure that the all relevant H&S laws and best practices are upheld. ? Monitor the routine inspection and maintenance of the vehicles are carried out at regular intervals, thereby reducing the breakdown of the vehicles. ? Ensure proper documentation is available for the maintenance of each vehicle. ? Develop and implement stringent measures to reduce the expenses in the purchase, maintenance and consumption. ? Controlling, running and maintaining the cost of the Section by formulating and implementing strategies to check time loss, theft of spares and misuse of fuel and vehicles. ? Plans, organizes and manages the work of section staff and contracted resources to ensure that the work is accomplished consistent with company requirements. ? Selects, develops, trains and motivates sub-ordinate staff to ensure that resources are available to provide quality services and on-time performance; carries out disciplinary actions or recommends termination of employment. ? Ensure that all the department staff and the vehicles comply with the food safety guidelines as per the ISO 22000:2005 and HACCP. ? Develop, conduct and administer the transportation program in accordance with the company policies, priorities and budget constraints; audit and approve all transportation related invoices. ? Responsible for the operations of the Distribution Centre that ADFSC operates in Abu Dhabi. ? Responsible that stocks in Product Distribution are allocated following best practices. ? Responsible for the handling of the information generated through the ERP system across the supply chain. Miscellaneous ? Attend assigned meetings, committee meetings and conferences, as required. ? Keep abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth. ? Maintain good relationship with stakeholders. ? Perform any other related activities. Holder Specifications Academic and Professional Qualification ? Transport related Degree ? Certificate in Logistics or Fleet Management Experience ? Minimum 8 years managerial experience. ? Candidate should be able to control the 100+ vehicles and drivers. ? Should have knowledge of UAE Traffic Laws ? Knowledge or experience in handling GPRS system and ERP system. ? Excellent Computer knowledge ? Excellent verbal, oral and written communication in English. ? Arabic is an advantage.
