HAD Yemen Program HR Job Vacancy (This job for Yemeni Citizens Only) Humanitarian Aid & Development organization (HAD) is an international Non - governmental Organization that has been present in Yemen since 2003. HAD has been undertaking humanitarian projects in various sectors of interventions including Health, WASH, and Education & Nutrition. The organization implements its own core projects and other projects in partnership with other humanitarian organizations.   HAD hereby seeks a qualified HR Practitioner to fill the position of HR Assistant. The successful applicant will develop and manage human resource systems and processes that guide and motivate staff to actively contribute to the work of HAD Org in Yemen. Specifically, the successful candidate will be tasked with the following responsibilities:  Organization Development and Strategic Initiatives: Assist the Country Director in creating effective organization structure that will support the overall program strategies of HAD Yemen.  Design, develop and review Human resource policies, procedures and systems. Prepare Human Resources Strategic Plans (short, medium and long term). Liaises with related authorities (labor office /MoPH in staff requirement /social insurance fund issues •  Establish performance management system and collaborate with line managers to lead and facilitate the process of performance management. •         Recruitment and retention of highly engaged individual into HAD org. •         Training and Staff Development.  •       Compensation and Benefits Management:  •      Employee Relations. •      Representation and Networking Qualifications: •         University degree in HR management or related field •         At least 2-5 years human resource management experience preferably with an NGO (Both National & International). •         Leadership at a strategic level to a HR and Country Team •         Field experience in developing country •         Direct experience in coaching and mentoring staff •         Strong organizational and management skills •         Excellent English communication skills (oral and written) •         Cross-cultural sensitivity, flexible worldview, emotional maturity •         Ability to work in and contribute to team building environment •         Ability to exhibit exemplary lifestyle as interpreted in specific local cultural context •         Experience in working in interfaith contexts and advantage  Application Process: Qualified Yemeni women are encouraged to apply for the post.
