Ref: MP944-283 An exciting opportunity with an established leading Middle East based National Oil Company, that functions throughout onshore development sites as well as in the shallow coastal waters with a number of productive oil fields.
JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE
Prepares and execute programs for rigless/rig operations with full responsibility and accountability. Rigless/Rig operation include and not limited to kill & secure wells, kick-off operation, acidizing, coil tubing cementing, logging, slick line, perforation, N2 lifting, stimulation and well testing to be carried out by service companies.
MAIN DUTIES
Rigless supervisor is responsible and accountable for the efficient performance of the following duties:
1. Design in-puts to the Rigless intervention programs, plan, risk assess, schedule & supervise all rigless well interventions and rig on site production test.
2. Ensures that each and every rigless well intervention is done in accordance with “ADCO policy and Drilling Practice”, risk assessing each rigless well intervention, mentoring and guiding the rigless team to delivers the well works objectives.
3. Prepares programs for various well tests such as multi zone production tests, stimulations, N2 lifting, acidizing, perforations, coil tubing cementing, killing and securing operations considering cost effective for these operations.
4. Responsible for the Service Companies HSE and service quality performance.
5. Follows up on contractor service performance and adherence to safe work practices and ADCO policies.
6. Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
7. Participates in the training and development of assigned UAE national employees (CAMS).
8. Knows ADCO health, safety and environmental policy, procedures, regulations and objectives as they relate to his area of responsibility, and ensures that they are effectively implemented in his domain.
9. Co-ordinate planned activities with service company staff, ensuring compliance with all Company procedures and HSE directives.
10. Deliver quality well services on time and within budget.
11. Supervising and performing Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and safety meetings, as well as the rigging up and down of coil tubing, electrical and slick line equipment and surface lines.
REMUNERATION:-
An attractive remuneration will be negotiated with the successful candidates and will be in line with a competitive industry standard.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- B.Sc in Petroleum, Mechanical, or relevant Engineering discipline
- 8 years of relevant experience in oil and gas industry
- Knowledge of wellheads, completions, slickline, electric Wireline, pumping operations, production testing (exploration and high H2S wells), well killing & securing, coiled tubing and cementing and all types of well intervention techniques.
- Exposure in Planning and good knowledge of budgeting and financial matters
