Ref: HP440-110 The candidate will be working with engineering team and will be an experienced professional with strong experience in ISS, duties will further entail: Bears overall responsibility for the consistent and reliable performance of all servers, systems, equipment and modifies operation & maintenance procedures to enhance service reliability. Plans and manages the operations and maintenance support to the ISS systems released in production by the ISS Development team as well as to ISS systems procured from the vendors. Reviews System and Database administration functions and provides comprehensive and effective support to the implementation, upgrade, maintenance, operations, backup and restoration of systems. Ensures compliance with standards, guidelines and procedures in respect of Systems, Database and Application administration. Ensures effective trouble shooting functions and performance testing of servers and systems. Manages the interfaces with ISS-Development Team and the concerned Etisalat sections to effectively support the stabilization of appropriate network/systems. Identifies the areas of optimization and enhancement in respect of network/applications. Leads, supports and actively participate in New Service Requests (NSR) clearance process. Education background and skills Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Telecom Engineering and/or Computer Science Related Professional Training, Certification or Membership: Preferred Advanced Studies in System & Application Operations & Maintenance for Telecom Networks. Project Management/Systems Consultancy qualifications will be an advantage. 12-15 years of related experience in Operations & Maintenance of large systems, Database & System Administration, and Internal Consultancy experience in telecom industry Knowledge of LTE & LTE advance, IP dimensioning & requirement, Mobile Access Node Dimensioning & Optimization.
