Ref: MP552-203 A leading International Consultancy have a requirement for a qualified Senior Quantity Surveyor. The project consists of major civil works, highways and infrastructure and this position will involve taking responsibility for the leadership and successful financial delivery of major infrastructure schemes in Qatar. Key Accountabilities • Ensuring that post-contract cost variances and change control processes are managed effectively • Ensuring that cost checking and valuation work is managed effectively • Ensuring the production of monthly post-contract cost reports and presenting them to the client • Value engineering and life cycle costing • Ensuring that final accounts are negotiated and agreed • Taking a lead role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages • Where appropriate, leading a cost management team, ensuring that they deliver on all of the above accountabilities • Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying • Chartered Status MRICS/FRICS/RICS • Must have a minimum of 10-15 year،¦s experience working on similar projects • Previous experience working on high specification infrastructure projects • Stable career history • Middle East experience would be desirable The name MENASA originates from both the geographical region of Middle East, North Africa & South Asia as well as the Arabic word for “platform” or “stage”.
