Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor Country Office – Khartoum Plan is a leading International Children’s development Organization with no religious, political or governmental affiliation, our vision is of a world in which all Children realize their full potential in societies that respect people’s rights and dignity. Child Centered Community Development (CCCD) is Plan’s Child Rights approach in which children, families and communities are active and leading participants in their own development. Working in 50 developing countries across the world, Plan’s stated global Strategic Goal (2011-15) is to reach as many children as possible, particularly those who are excluded or marginalized, with high-quality programmes that deliver long-lasting benefits. Plan aims to achieve this goal by working in partnership with others and through high performing teams whose behaviors reflect the corporate values. Plan is committed to realizing child rights and is obligated to provide children with whom it works a safe and conducive environment. Plan’s Sudan Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor is responsible for initiating, development and delivery of a Monitoring, Evaluation and Research Framework that incorporate Gender Equality, Right Based Programming/CP as part of the Country Strategic Plan. S/he provides managerial and technical leadership in the development of the Monitoring, Evaluation and Research (MER) Plan at the country level and Program Units (Pus) which guide national level activities including the Country Program Progress Report and the Country Strategy Evaluation. The ME & RA is responsible for the design and implementation of participatory monitoring systems in Plan Sudan. S/he is a core team member in the development of PU Long Term Plans, all linked by Plan’s values and the common purpose of sustainable child poverty reduction as they deliver work to change the lives of children across the globe. We seek a person with a strong sense of integrity and personal commitment to help us further the Plan-International mission in Sudan program. The ME & RA is responsible for providing technical leadership and support in program/project design, planning information gathering and synthesis, reflection and reporting processes in Plan Sudan. This includes development and management of PU Annual Plans, Annual Budgets, Annual Participatory Program Reviews and implementation of MER Plans. S/He is accountable for the CO MER budget and responsible for the PU MER budgets. The post holder directly supervises all PU M&E Coordinators. Plan offers a very competitive salary and benefits package to its employees. The post on a fixed contract for one year, salary in SDG 7000 (Seven Thousand SDG) In addition to the salary; Plan offers a generous package of benefit and different allowances including health insurance. Plan also pays additional three months basic salary every year to staff during key festivals and in the month when school starts in Sudan.
