Medecins sans Frontieres is a private international association. It provides assistance to populations in distress, to victims of nature or man-made disasters and to victims of armed conflicts. They do so irrespective of race, religion, creed or political convictions. The association is made up mainly of doctors and health sector workers and is also open to all professions, which might help in achieving its aims. Medical Coordinator Assistant level 8 Khartoum, with possible frequent visit to the MSF-Spain projects. Medical Coordinator SDG 4133 / month The Medical Coordinator Assistant is assist the Med Co by Monitoring and analysis of the medical context of the country and its repercussions in the humanitarian / health situation in order to help define interventions according to the needs, and supports the medical department through medical expertise on the following responsibilities: · Participate in the definition, constant evaluation; follow up of the project, and development of the strategy of intervention in the country. · Ensure the quality of the medical activities and guarantee the respect for MSF health policies. · Technical support or physical substitution on members of the medical teams in MSF-Spain programs when needed. · Responsible for national and international staff health in Khartoum, follow up referral patients from the state to the capital level. · Assistance and support to Medical Department through any other delegated task upon request. · Ensure the proper implementation of medical protocols and the quality of medication within the country. Essential bachelor’s degree in Medical compulsory. Essential clinical experience at least two years. Previous work experience with MSF or other NGOs is a plus. Essential computer literacy (Word, Excel and outlook express Internet). Oral and written English and Arabic compulsory. Medicine, Epidemiology and notions in public health are compulsory. · Cross cultural awareness & flexibility. · Analytical thinking, Self control. · Quality & results orientation. · Planning & organization. · Internal user and beneficiary orientation. · People management, teamwork.
