My client, an Architectural & Engineering Consultancy currently has a requirement for a Resident Engineer to be based in Dubai. The ideal Resident Engineer will have between 10 to 15 years experience, and currently be located in the UAE. Responsibilities include managing a team of site architects and engineers, monitoring and reporting on the Contractor’s progress of work, conducting inspections if required, and administering the contract according to FIDIC requirements. A Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering is required, and additional training with Project Management and FIDIC are a plus. Must be familiar with local and international building codes, and Estidama requirements. Due to daily contact with the Owner and Contractor, strong written and oral communication skills are required.
