Responsible for Sales targets for the assigned Territories. Responsible for achieving Personal & Team Targets •Achieve sales target without compromising on customer service. •Assess the Team performance based on the experience, location and product knowledge. •Encourage, motivate, educate and train the team. •Provide adequate training to customers. •To work with the sales team, and other departments to ensure that Sales information is shared, sales opportunities are maximized and team sales target is met. •Report to GM / CEO on the progress on sales target and issues with regards to achieving of assigned target. •Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets. •Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding team performance, competitors and overall progress. •Provides timely, accurate and competitive pricing information on all products submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin. •Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines. •Periodic market survey to get competitive edge on the products. •Coordinate with marketing department to increase the visibility of products. •The Sales Manager shall be responsible for the collection of the sales and accordingly advice the members to bear the responsibility equally. •Assist in recruiting the new staff. •Tapping new market segments for the existing as well new product lines. •Suggestions for new product lines. •Should be capable of segmenting the market and positioning the products in the most optimal manner with the given tools and approved by the budget committee. •Design plan and implement promotional schemes as and when required and approved by the budget committee. •As a team leader, should be able to deal with different nationalities and get the job done as assigned to each member in the team. •Monitor the civic behavior of the members in terms of attendance , time and ensure that all the members are punctual and adhere to the normal working hours. •Jointly formulate the annual budgets in consultation with budget committee at least 02 months prior to the fiscal year end, which will be forward to the chairman for his final approval. Chairman reserves the rights to revise the figures proposed and by all means such revision shall be the final figures of the purpose of approved budgets.
