Primary Responsibility & Functions •Communicating with end users to get details of their problems •Working out the reasons for a fault and explaining these to the end users •Fixing equipment, including printers, scanners, LCD projectors, etc… (known as peripherals) •Setting up new equipment (PCs, printers, photocopiers, scanners, etc…) and upgrading existing systems •Troubleshooting and servicing equipment •Recording problems and their solutions for future reference •Training clients on new systems or software applications •Accurately document instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal. •Liaise with, and provide support to end users and staff on computer operation and other issues. •Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user workstation hardware, networked peripheral devices, and networking hardware products. •Where required, install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot associated end user workstation software and networking software products. •Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex PC problems for a variety of end users, and recommend and implement corrective hardware solutions. •Receive and respond to incoming calls, and/or e-mails regarding PC and/or hardware problems. •Develop and maintain an inventory of all monitors, keyboards, hard drives, modems, printers, scanners, and other peripheral equipment. •Have familiarity with network operations, routers, and associated devices. •If necessary, liaise with third-party support and PC equipment vendors •Troubleshoot mobile devices and VoIP telephony •Position may be required to perform duties outside their normal responsibilities as needed and when requested. Education. Skills & Experience Requirements •University degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience. •Minimum 3 years of experience providing Support Desk support in a medium size organization (200+ desktops) with multiple site offices. •Demonstrated knowledge of Windows (Windows 7 and Windows 8) operating systems, computer and peripheral hardware and software, office productivity software, browsers and networking; A+ certification preferred. •Good experience in using service management tools is a plus. •Expert knowledge of MS Office. •Cisco routing experience is a plus •Good knowledge in Microsoft products •ITIL Certification a plus. •Good interpersonal skills, including good written and verbal communication skills •Arabic language is a plus not necessary. •Server maintenance and active directory experience is a plus •Reliable transportation is a must •Required availability to be on-call as scheduled and as needed The Adecco Group is the world's leading provider of HR solutions.
